ALPTEX's plug style FlexProbes are designed to fit the Meritec line of SOP sockets and nearly all standard PLCC sockets. The SOP type latches securely into the Meritec socket in the same manner as a device package. Our PLCC type is manufactured with our own PLCC plug and snaps firmly into a target socket.
Both types utilize a nickel silver alloy as a contact material. Similar to the SMT style, a Kapton flex circuit makes the transition to the interface connector at the opposite end. Complete instructions are included with every probe.
ALPTEX has more ways of connecting to your target than any other supplier. The Plug style is currently available for TSOP, PSOP and PLCC....with more being added every year.
